Hoàng Trần/Translated by Mike Nguyen (Danlambao) - Speaking at the ceremony on August 16, 2014 at the Ministry of Public Security, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung loudly ordered his police & security forces to "definitely not rekindle, forming organizations of civil society and non-state organizations.

Intimidating proposition of Dung broadcasted in the context of dozens of independent civil society being established in recent years.

For the totalitarian regime in Vietnam, organizations operate independently and is not under control by the Communist Party were accused of a "hostile sabotage".

Earlier, a series of state owned media was released articles attacking those independent organizations with very harsh words. So Dung's statement aligned with those and open new threats crackdown on targeting those activists and pro-democracy advocates.

Crack down on any political opposition

The traditional ceremony celebrating 69 years of police service was attended by many top communist leaders such as the former minister of Public & Security, Le Hong Anh (he is now one of the top officials in the party controlling all activities), current prime Minister, general Tran Dai Quang, and Assistant of the premier, Nguyen Van Nen...

Next Gen. Tran Dai Quang also delivered a speech instructed his security forces "to crack down on any political organizations"

"Timely detect, contend and defeat any conspiracy or hostile activities against the regime and the party from the  rebellion groups. Repel and eliminate factors causing social and political instability. Not to let forming any political organization".

"The police force must absolutely be loyal to the party, and is the main  sword to protect  the party and the regime", Tran Dai Quang stressed.

Previously the police had made several attacks on those organizations targeting on some of the prominent advocates forcing them to report to the local police stations and blocking their mobility rights.

The representatives from the Vietnamese Blogger Network such as Mrs. Nguyễn Ngọc Như Quỳnh, Ms. Phạm Thanh Nghiên and others have been attacked and harassed while they were on the way to attend the seminar held by the Embassy of Australia. Others such Mrs. Trần Thị Nga and Huỳnh Ngọc Phương were being surrounded and blocked in the motel by plain clothes officers preventing them to attend the seminar.

Through such statement, it is assertive to say that Nguyen Tan Dung and Tran Dai Quang are the mastermind behind those oppression plans.

Even appearing in well dress shiny veston, but Nguyễn Tấn Dũng still posed lawless behaviors covering his uncivilized attitudes. Of course his actions will not deter the courage of those advocates.

In 2012, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung in anger dispatch issued the so called “decress 7169” banning people reading the web Dan Lam Bao and also ordered police arrest and 'treat' the people behind People Making News. After 2 years, this web still survives and attracts even more readers. He also banned those political dissidents and advocates to work for foreign organizations, a way of killing their earning of life.
